Stress hits the headlines
The Leepeckgroup PR team has been talking a lot about stress lately, but it's not at work.
The team has been securing valuable press coverage for National Stress Awareness Day – Wednesday November 5 – and efforts have already hit the headlines in titles including OK Magazine, The Daily Record, Belfast Telegraph and on GMTV, plus interviews on radio stations all around the country.
Key spokespeople around the UK have agreed to take part in live radio interviews on the day to talk about this year’s theme Don’t Worry – Take Action and organisations around the country have been quick to join forces with the International Stress Management Association (ISMA) to support the message.
PR director Alyson Marlow says the team’s proactive approach is paying dividends in terms of top level PR coverage. “We targeted the long lead publications early in the campaign and have been able to provide top quality spokespeople who radio stations are keen to talk to,’’ she said.
