Take off with Blue Islands to Switzerland
It’s destination Switzerland for LPG which has been commissioned by airline Blue Islands to launch new flights from Southampton to Geneva and Zurich this month.
Interest and bookings are already high in this new service from Southampton International Airport and Blue Islands chairman Derek Coates said this route is really striking a chord with the region’s business community – and those looking for a winter ski break.
“We are now making the final preparations for the launch of the new service which begins on October 26 and offers flights six days a week. We are delighted to have Leepeckgroup on board to mastermind the official launch, advertising and PR for our new venture,’’ said Derek.
Blue Islands, which is based in the Channel Islands, has built up an enviable reputation on its existing routes and the new services to Geneva and Zurich represent a key milestone in its expansion plans.
LPG chairman Lee Peck said he was thrilled to be working with such a forward thinking and successful company on this exciting new project.
“We know that the south has strong links with Switzerland and there is tremendous demand for flights which offer customers competitive fares, fully changeable tickets, a fast track channel through security at Southampton and even champagne on board,’’ said Lee.
“Details of the new services will be widespread in the region with outdoor, press and radio advertising and direct mail.’’
