NHS Walk in centres
When Southampton City Primary Care Trust identified that local people either weren’t aware of the City’s three NHS Walk-in Centres, or didn’t know what they treated, LPG was invited to help.
The centres, which provide nurse-led advice and treatment for minor ailments and injuries 365 days a year, exist to ease the pressure on the City’s overburdened Accident & Emergency Departments which should only be used for life-threatening or serious injuries and illnesses.
LPGF won design work to raise the profile and create greater awareness of the benefits of using them. The eye-catching series of 48 sheet and 6 sheet outdoor posters, plus A4 and A3 posters are displayed on poster sites and buildings around the city, each carrying a clear and concise call to action: “Get seen quickly. Get better soon”.
