Hampshire cricketers dressed for charity success
Hampshire cricketers including Shaun Udal, Nic Pothas and John Crawley dropped into Leepeckgroup as part of a fundraising walk in aid of the Hampshire Autistic Society.
But it was a case of fancy dress rather than cricket whites for the fundraising team on their mission - a sponsored walk from Southampton to Winchester and back the following day.
The walk was all part of Autism Awareness Week – something close to the heart of Udal who has an autistic son.
“They certainly created a stir on their walk with some amazing costumes,’’ said LPG managing director Sue Thomas. “And we were delighted to make even a small contribution to the tremendous efforts of the walkers and the charity.’’
