Live on air….South’s leading ad agency hosts BBC radio show

Listeners to BBC Radio Solent were given an insight into the life of the region’s no 1 advertising and PR agency when Jon Cuthill broadcast his mid morning show live from the Southampton headquarters of Leepeckgroup.

The broadcast coincided with the launch this week of the BBC Radio Solent Daisy Appeal Calendar which was designed and produced by Leeepeckgreenfield.

“Already the calendar has been a huge success,’’ said Jon who originally came up with the idea of a calendar with his producer Alun Newman. “And it seemed perfect to take the whole crew up to Chilworth and find out more about how the calendar was designed and produced and meet the people involved.’’

Leepeckgreenfield managing director Sue Thomas said the company was delighted to be able to play host to the Friday show from 9am until 12.30pm.

“We made it a real occasion,’’ she said. “We sold copies of the calendar from our Chilworth office and had the Snows Motor Group Daisy MINI and the Lucketts Daisy Coach on display in the car park.’’
