Cycling across France is target for heart charity
Cycling across France is set to test Lee Peck to the limit!
As part of a four man team, the joint chairman of Leepeckgroup is taking part in The Wessex Heartbeat Challenge, Loire 2006.
Over three days, the Silver Dream team will cover more than 500 miles starting on Friday Oct 6 at Pegasus Bridge in Caen in Normandy (site of the remarkable glider landings on D-Day that marked the beginning of the end of the Second World War) and ending near the town of Cholet in the Loire Valley on the Sunday evening.
The event is set to raise thousands of pounds for the south’s biggest heart charity and Lee will be joining fellow team members Steve Wilks, the regional chairman of developers Kingsoak; Malcolm Reuby, director of Ringwood consulting engineers Reuby and Stagg limited and Alistair Currie, land director of Barratt Homes (Southampton).
Leepeckgreenfield client Hendy Ford is donating the use of a Ford Transit as a support vehicle. Lee Peck said: “As you know organizing these events takes a huge amount of time and money and we are very grateful to Hendy Ford for their great gesture. I would also like to thank Steve Wilks for getting me on board – or maybe I should wait to see how I feel after the event!”
